How to wrap gift originally

Gifts always make you even more happy when they are beautifully wrapped. But how to pack them originally? Use home stuff. Sometimes you have more than you think. Cellophane, snack bag, newspapers? All this can be creatively used in a beautifully wrapped gift.

Sometimes you need less than you think for gifts. Don't they have your favorite wrapping paper? Never mind, you can cope easily with what you have at home or jump for an ordinary packing paper and reap the admiration for beautifully wrapped gifts.

1) Custom wrapping paper

Create your own paper! It's easy. All you need is stamps, brushes and tape. Make potato stamps with your own pattern, tree, a little crooked star or heart.

Or do not create any pattern! Just wrap a gift in an ordinary packing paper and decorate it with a photo and a piece of lavender, eucalyptus or bow and you're done! ✅

2) Zero waste

Gifts can be wrapped differently. How about not wasting paper that is used just for a moment? Wrap the gift in another gift. The easiest way is to wrap the gift in fabric.

Wrap it with scarf or table cloth which you give to the person as another gift. A beautiful tablecloth, towel, scarf, apron or bag will make you more happy than plain paper. The Japanese called wrapping the gift in the fabric furoshiki, perceive packaging as a ceremony and beauty

Furoshiki styles of wrapping

You do not have to worry, furoshiki is a challenging technique, origamy with tea towels and scarves, but you can wrap things in a simple way and tie with the ribbon.

3) What's in the kitchen?

  • snack bag
  • baking paper
  • dish cloth

The kitchen does not seem to be, but there are a few items in it that will wrap everything beautifully.

4) Recycle!

Use materials that you would no longer need or throw away.

  • old map without highways and roads
  • newspapers, magazines
  • drawings
  • unused cuts for clothing

Anything paper you have on hand. You can also combine them in various ways.
